Description
The Explorer SX-MC Sidekick Magic Clamp is the ultimate rock solid clamp to mount a camera or photo accessories to almost any flat or round object with an impressive maximum load of 16kg (35lb). The Explorer SX-MC features so many mounting points it will suit almost any application including 1 x UNC1/4″-20 Male, 4 x UNC1/4″-20 Female and 3 x UNC3/8-16 Female mounting points. The Magic Clamp features two knobs the smaller to quickly adjust to the approximate size of the object the clamp is mounting to and the larger flat knob for locking the clamp.
The maximum locking for cylindrical objects is 100mm in diameter with a super impressive range down to a minimum 15mm diameter. The maximum locking for flat objects (like a table) is 90mm and can grip on very thin flat surfaces. The clamp features rubber pads at the mounting points to protect surfaces and one mounting point pivots to accommodate the most unusual mounting surface.
