My travels have managed to take me through the beautiful high desert landscapes of Joshua Tree National Park. Located in southern California, this oasis is marked by the warm tones of rounded granite boulder fields, octotillo and cholla cacti, amazing rock arches, and of course the park’s namesake, the Joshua Tree. The night sky is especially dark here making it especially good for star gazing and astrophotography. I’ve only scratched the surface of what there is to see here and my photos include the areas around White Camp and Jumbo Rocks.
