Hello! Let me take a moment of your time to introduce myself.  I have been an avid photographer for over 25 years. From the days of film transitioning into digital, my focus has always been on the natural world around us…and a few cat and food photos along the way. While my earlier work emphasized the underwater world, landscape photography has been my passion for over a decade. It was around this same time that I started teaching landscape photography workshops. I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love and show you around some of my favorite places to photograph all while helping you to improve your photography. My landscape photography workshops are geared towards all levels of photographers and focus on getting you to the best locations at the right time. I also work for a larger camera shop in the Pacific Northwest, so technical camera and equipment issues are no sweat. Can’t figure out your settings or menu? No problem. Need your tripod worked on? I got it. I’ve heard stories of workshop leaders unwilling to help with clients’ gear and dismissing them with statements to the effect like “should be shooting (insert their favorite brand) instead”. And just because there are folks out there not doing these things, I am a certified Wilderness First Responder and LNT Trainer, am fully insured, and run my workshops with the required permits from the places which require them.
