New Zealand contains a diverse array of landscapes in a compact region. Fiordland, rugged mountains, long sandy beaches, rugged coasts, scenic waterfalls, and beautiful, tranquil lakes abound, especially on the south island. In addition to the amazing landscapes, other highlights have been the fur seals in the northwestern region and the yellow-eyed penguins in the southeast. My travels to New Zealand have included trips starting in Queenstown and Christchurch dating back to 2015. Nature photography doesn’t get much easier when surrounded by such beauty!
