Yosemite National Park is often referred to as the crown jewel of the park system and rightfully so. The glacially carved valley is full of striking features such as the granite face of El Capitan, Half Dome, the Three Brothers, and more. Yosemite Falls, Bridaveil Valls, and Vernal and Nevada Falls all feed into the valley and Merced River creating beautiful meadows from which to take in the views. Of course, there is the high country nestled among the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Sentinel Dome, Lembert Dome, Glacier Point, and Tuolumne Meadows are all visitor favorites. Of course, nothing beats seeing a clearing storm move through Yosemite Valley as mist and fog rise and dance.
