Iceland Photo Gallery
Iceland remains one of the most beautiful and rugged places in the world for landscape photography. Black sand beaches, volcanic rocks covered in green moss, amazing waterfalls and glaciers, this island nation is full of natural wonders. When the light is good, it can last for hours. My two trips to Iceland thus far were back in 2014 and 2015 when both times, I rented a camper van and followed the ring road around the island. On my first trip, I managed to visit the Snaefellsnes and Reykjaness peninsulas in addition to the East Fjords and Westfjords. At the end of my travels, A day trip to Landmannalaugar followed by a flight over Iceland’s interior left me speechless. In 2015, I managed to see the northern lights for the first time over the iconic church in Vik along the south coast. Iceland is also known for their beautiful horses and nesting Atlantic puffins. You’ll find images of them here as well.
