When I first moved to Washington state in the summer of 2015, I had no idea the sheer amount of beautiful landscapes found here. Of course, I was familiar with Mount Rainier, Olympic National Park, and the eastern part of the state commonly referred to as “Palouse“. But I had no idea how amazing the mountains in the Central and North Cascades were. Or how Skagit Valley is filled with serenity and calm. As I continue to explore this evergreen state, I hope to add more of how I see the world here.
