San Francisco Photo Gallery

Living along the central California coast for many years, I would make frequent trips to San Francisco to photograph its scenic skyline and iconic bridges. While sunsets and sunrise were my main focus, fog events were also motivation to set the alarm early to make the ninety minute drive to the big city. Overlooks from Berkeley included Grizzly Peak and Hawk Hill and Slacker Ridge in the Marin Headlands. Other popular spots included Marshall and Baker Beach, Kirby Cove, Battery Spencer, and Fort Point. While I miss my close proximity to San Francisco, I don’t miss those extreme early wake-ups!
