Reports of thunderstorms on Saturday and partly cloudy skies
leading up to them inspired me to get out shoot this week.
After work on Tuesday, I drove up the coast to my favorite
spot, Panther Beach.
I ran into a photography acquaintance and we chatted a bit
and walked the bluffs above the beach. Some really nice storm
clouds were rumbling through. As we started to set up for the
sunset, a rainbow formed to the south. A few minutes later,
some lightning struck and over the course of the evening we
both heard several more thunder claps and saw a few more lightning
strikes.
Maybe my title is a bit misleading, but it certainly was some
strange weather that passed through this night!
