Dynamics
Raced up to Panther / Hole In The Wall, for a little more exploration
on the south end. Something I find interesting is how shots I have
recently take are no longer available to shoot again...at least
on these trips. Makes me realize just how dynamic the
coastal and ocean environments are.
I mentioned in my last shot, that the sand deposits had covered
up an earlier shot, taken just a few weeks ago. As I climbed up
on the shelves where the crack from my last shot is located, I
noticed a large amount of drift kelp and algae that was now up
on the shelves around and in the crack itself. All part of the dynamic system,
but definitely not something you want to look at hanging on your
wall.
As is often the case, I ran around looking for some new compositions
as the light was fading fast...and the sky was just mesmorizing.
It was so, shall I say, dynamic! I kept watching it instead
of shooting. Fine by me, as I was enjoying the moment more than
the photography.
The swell and tide were low, so there wasn't anything too dynamic about
it, therefore, I pointed my camera a tad more to the main interest,
the dynamic sky.
