The landscapes of the western United States are some of the most diverse and beautiful on the planet. I found my first inspiration for landscape photography along the California coast as I searched for ways to convey the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. The Sierra Nevada mountains including the Owens River Valley and Yosemite National Park as well as the desert landscapes of Death Valley National Park are some of my current favorite destinations.
