The world-class Santa Cruz coastline contains many incredible features such as the iconic arch at Natural Bridges State Beach, as well as other remarkable sea stacks, tidal pools, and rocky shelves. This workshop will help beginning and intermediate photographers create wonderful images of these gorgeous coastal elements. The workshop focuses on understanding your camera’s settings in order to break into new creative realms. There is also a strong emphasis on producing striking and powerful compositions, as well as telling a story with your photos. This workshop is limited to 8 students.

Workshop Requirements:

• Digital SLR camera
• Lenses. Wide and ultra-wide angle lenses recommended
• Tripod
• Footwear with good traction
• Creativity and a positive attitude
• Ability to walk 1-5 miles walking over uneven terrain

Highly recommended items:

• Filters (ND, Grad ND, Polarizers)
• Remote shutter release
• Flashlight
