Stillwater Cove - September 30, 2007

An extremely pleasant day aboard the Beach Hopper today as we headed to Carmel for two dives inside and out of Stillwater Cove. I was dreading the possibility of 10' of chunky visibility and possible surge based on recent reports. Today was your typical, run-of-the-mill, central Californian diving. Visibility in the 20-40 range, light surge and the usual suspects including, harbor seals, rockfish, lingcod, cabezon, and the like.

The last few minutes of "underspace" were spent at 30' with the bottom in clear view 30' below and the sun's fractals blazing through the kelp in kaleidoscope fashion.
